Driving from Seoul to Everland

Head southwest on the Gyeongbu Expressway (Highway 1) or Olympic Expressway (Highway 88), depending on when you begin your journey in Seoul. It is worth noting that both these highways are well-marked and have signs in both Korean and English.
Continue on the Gyeongbu Expressway or Olympic Expressway until you reach the Suwon Interchange. Take the exit for Suwon before merging onto the Suwon Ring Expressway (Highway 51), heading South.
Stay on the Suwon Ring Expressway (Highway 51) until you reach Yongin City. At the Yongin Interchange, take the exit and merge onto the Yongin-Seoul Expressway (Highway 50), again heading South.
Continue on the Yongin-Seoul Expressway (Highway 50) until you see the signs for Everland. The Theme Park itself is located in the city of Yongin, which is about 40 km south of Seoul.
Parking at Everland
There are well-marked free car parks once you arrive at Everland - simply follow the signs to the allotted parking spaces. If the main parking areas are full, Everland staff will direct you to the nearest available parking.
Alternatively, Everland also offers a Valet Parking service for 15000 KRW (£9/$11) where dedicated staff will park your car for you - for Valet Parking, follow the signs for ‘MA Parking’.
A free shuttle bus service operates from both regular and valet parking to take you from the parking area to the entrance of the Everland Theme Park.
Taxi from Seoul to Everland
Alternatively, and perhaps a more popular choice for those wanting to drive to Everland, is to grab a taxi from Seoul. You can do this by either flagging down a taxi in Seoul (they are readily available from dedicated taxi stands, outside major tourist stops, or your hotel/accommodation can book them for you) or by using a dedicated taxi app.
The best taxi app to use for people without a Korean number is usually Kakao T (Formerly Kakao Taxi), and it happens to be one of the best apps to use in Korea.
It isn’t easy to provide an accurate fare rate for the taxi between Seoul and Everland, as this will vary greatly depending on the traffic and where in Seoul you are getting the taxi from.
